Cannabis production must take place within a framework of very rigorous processes and strict testing practices. In this micro-course, students will review process flows for growing and processing cannabis – including cultivation, harvesting, processing, extraction and testing. Students will also explore essential elements relating to quality control and quality assurance.
Program Suspension: This course is part of the Cannabis Industry Specialization program that is being suspended. Each course within the program will be offered a minimum of one last time, giving all students the opportunity to complete the program. Final offerings will be guaranteed to run regardless of the number of registrants. For further information, please click here to visit the program web page.
This 3 hour course is delivered online and instructorless. Once registered you will have access to the course and must compete the required modules and assignments prior to the course end date.
Once completed your grade will be added to your Durham College transcript (please allow 2 weeks).
A digital badge will be awarded for the completion of all 5 Cannabis Operations micro courses (not individually). Upon completing all 5 courses you must notify us via email PPLBadges@durhamcollege.ca. Once verified we will issue you the digital badge.
Withdrawals are only accepted up to 3 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.
