Building Client and Business Relationships (Micro-credential)

In order to create long-lasting relationships with new or existing clients and within the business community, it is essential to be able to employ the fundamental skills related to establishing rapport, interpersonal and communication expertise and the ability to plan, carry out and follow-up on meetings. The Building Business and Client Relationships micro-credential program will introduce you to the various tools, technologies, techniques and requirements for successful communications and interactions typically used in B2C sales environments.

  • This micro-credential is part of the “Sales for Small Businesses” stacked micro-credential. By successfully competing all four micro-credentials you can apply to receive the “Sales for Small Businesses” stacked micro-credential.

    MICRO-CREDENTIAL FEATURES:

    MICRO-CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U) OR;
  • Grade 12 equivalency certificate achieved through College academic upgrading OR;
  • Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U)

    PROGRAM COMPETENCIES:

    Upon completion of this Micro-credential, students will be equipped to:

  • Conduct professional sales-based communications with prospects and clients to build rapport throughout the sales process.
