Program Description

The Corporate Training Specialization stacked micro-credential program prepares students with relevant business experience to become learning generalists that support organizations with training initiatives to optimize workforce performance.

Graduates will have the skills to work effectively with stakeholders, analyze the training needs of business units, design impactful learning solutions, build strategies to maximize the transfer of learning in the workplace, and evaluate the impact of learning on business performance. Emphasis will be on developing strategies and utilizing techniques to support employee engagement and retention. With increased levels of satisfaction, employees will be vital contributors to their organization’s success.

This Corporate Training Specialization stacked micro-credential program is comprised of five individual competency-based micro-credentials. While PPL recommends the sequence of instruction as noted in the program of study, learners may choose to take the courses in any order, or may choose to take selected individual micro-credentials without working towards the stacked program. Graduates obtain a digital badge after completing each of the five micro-credentials and then an overall Corporate Training Specialization stacked micro-credential badge attesting to the successful completion of all five individual micro-credentials.

A digital badge will be awarded upon successful completion of this Micro-credential. After successful completion of all courses in the Program of Study you must notify us via email at pplbadges@durhamcollege.ca. Once verified, a digital badge will be issued to you.
