Students examine the corporate finance environment and its impact on decision making, time value of money, investing and risk management, distribution of earnings, capital budgeting techniques and short-, medium-, and long-term financing decisions. Through a combination of various learning techniques including interactive lectures, inquiry based learning and in-class problem solving, students develop the financial tools for both short-term and long-term financial management.
