AI Essentials

Code:
AIDI 1280

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has impacted industries globally. Within many organizations, AI is being used to predict stock market changes, protect against fraud, and aid medical advances - all fueled by the mass amounts of data that we have at our disposal today. In addition, with the introduction of tools such as Google Assistant, Siri, and automated vehicles, artificial intelligence is no longer a tool just for professional use, but has entered into our homes and local communities. This course will introduce students to the foundations of AI and how it affects society, how governments regulate AI, and how AI can be applied to business needs.
