Prevention & Identification of Child Abuse

Students learn about the educator’s role in preventing, identifying and treating child abuse. Throughout the course students participate in discussions and are exposed to current research, and audiovisuals about child abuse and family violence. This information helps students make decisions about reporting occurrences, and providing for a child’s health and safety.
