LIBR 5089

Supervised experience in libraries is essential in the development of library skills. Students do two separate work assignments in two different types of libraries. The goal of field work is to broaden the student's educational experience to include the varied services of different types of libraries and to enable the student to apply the information gained in course work to the practices and procedures employed in individual libraries.

Notes:

It is recommended students complete Indexing and Subject Analysis and Reference Processes prior to or concurrently with placement.
