Master Planning for Operations/Production

Canadian firms have realized that they must become more competitive in world markets, not only to compete better but also just to survive. Master Planning is an essential tool for success. An effective plan will allow the firm to work within its capacity constraints, satisfy demand, and achieve efficiencies in operation. This course examines in detail the process of Master Planning. Master Planning encompasses the activities of Business Planning, Production Planning, Master Production Scheduling, and Final Assembly Scheduling.
