This hands-on Introductory level Adobe Photoshop CC workshop will introduce you to some of the most important and useful tools that photographers use when editing their photos. Learn the secrets on how to remove things (including people) from photos using content aware, the clone tool, healing brush, spot healing brush, and patch tool. When it comes to portrait photography, we’ll cover cosmetic retouching and how to remove and insert a person in a photo. If you have some old family photos that need some repair work, you’ll learn the best way to digitize them, the best restoration techniques to use in order to repair dust marks, tears, creases, missing pieces, fades, and how to colour correct photos that have a colour cast. You will also learn how to use the various selection tools in order to select a specific area in a photo to work on, as well as the best way to make tricky selections. Once we’ve selected an area to work on, we’ll create different adjustment layers and masks in order to implement changes in these selected areas. Learn how to replace backgrounds (skies) in photos and how to use creative filters to enhance an image. This workshop will be taught on a PC platform. Students must have basic computer skills/knowledge.
