Diabetes: Throughout the Lifespan

This course examines pregnancy in diabetes, gestational diabetes, and diabetes in children, adolescents and the elderly. Long-term complications that people with diabetes may experience are discussed. Participants examine the design and evaluation of diabetes education programs.

Notes:

This course has a minimum passing grade of 70%. Limited enrollment, students should register early.

Students are required to special order The Art & Science of Diabetes Self-Management from the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and may be subject to additonal duties. Please be advised that it may take 2-3 weeks for the book to arrive.
