Professional Designation
Program Description
The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is the entry-level designation. It is also the best known HR designation in Canada and available exclusively from the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).

Durham College offers equivalent courses to the CHRP coursework requirements listed below. Upon completion students can submit their transcript to the HRPA for approval.
Note: HRPA requires an average of 70% with no individual course mark lower than 65% and must be completed within ten (10) years from the date you are registered to write the CHRP Knowledge Exam (CHRP-KE).
