Program Description
Delivering high quality, well-defined project solutions is a critical component to success in today's business world and a core function of a Project Manager. Through applied learning activities, students learn how to move through the project life cycle phases. They develop a critical understanding of management and human resources, project risk and quality, scheduling and software, and contracting and procurement. Students work through the curriculum to develop a project management plan that can be applied to real-life scenarios.
It is recommended that if students plan to pursue their CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) or their PMP® (Project Management Professional) credential they review PMI prerequisite requirements for both exams. Please visit their website at www.PMI.org to ensure you have the prerequisite requirements prior to writing.
Courses within this certificate are eligible for PDU and contact hours with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Please visit www.PMI.org to review their submission process.
