Lab and/or Field Placement provides students with supervised hands-on experience within their field of study, while they continue to fulfil their academic requirements. Students gain valuable experience in a professional workplace setting allowing them to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills learned in the classroom.

LAB/Field Placement Document Requirements

Some programs or placement hosts may require students to submit Entry Immunization Forms or Criminal Reference Checks (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) as part of their LAB/Field Placement Requirements.   These requirements will be submitted using Verified by Synergy Gateway. Verified is a process of digitally uploading documentation requirements and having them validated through Electronic Student Permit Checking (ESPC).  Please refer to your Program’s Field Placement Requirements for more information.
