Deborah Schuh joined the School of Health and Community Service in 2005 and is currently the program co-ordinator for the Personal Support Worker program.
Schuh graduated from Durham College’s Registered Nursing program in 2000 and completed her Perinatal/Obstetrical Certificate in 2001. She is presently completing her Bachelor of Nursing from Athabasca University. She has completed numerous professional development training courses and has been honoured with many awards, including being nominated for the Toronto Star Nightingale Award of Excellence in 2004.
Her professional mission is to promote health and provide competent nursing care and education collaboratively with other multidisciplinary team members. A proponent of lifelong learning, she is committed to the profession of nursing through political action and speaking out for students, nurses and other health-care professionals.
