April Faculty Spotlight – Dale Button

Dale Button, a professor in the School of Justice and Emergency Services, recognized that he had a passion for health sciences and after obtaining a degree, Dale enrolled in the Primary Care Paramedic program at Durham College (DC). He fell in love with the dynamic teaching and found his niche working as a paramedic with the Region of Durham. During his graduate certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic at DC, Dale became enthralled with education. Dale enjoyed his student experience so much at DC that he returned as a professor; he states that his education at DC has been transformative and life changing.
