LinkedIn Learning Access

Please note: Over the course of the past three years, the Ontario government has provided post-secondary students, faculty and staff across the province with access to LinkedIn Learning at no cost to individual institutions. Further to the communication shared on July 24, they will not be extending the service and the current contract will expire on September 30.

Users will lose access to their Durham College (DC) LinkedIn Learning account on September 30. We encourage all users to connect their DC LinkedIn Learning account to their personal account to maintain history of any learning activity completed through LinkedIn Learning.

All full-time and part-time students and employees at Durham College currently have access to the full suite of LinkedIn Learning (Formally known as to helping gain new skills and advance your career. While the look and feel of the platform has changed, LinkedIn Learning gives you access to the same content but with a more personalized learning experience.

If you were using, all previous learning activity and history, including learning certificates, has all been seamlessly transferred to LinkedIn Learning. If you have not used, you will be able to log in to LinkedIn Learning with your Durham College banner number and password. To log in please visit

LinkedIn Learning courses and videos can be used as a supplementary resource to any of your course materials! You could generate a playlist for students, or share specific videos.

Please note: if you are using a link in your course material, these links will redirect students to the same video or playlist in the upgraded LinkedIn Learning platform until March 2020. At that point in time, you will need to replace the link with the new LinkedIn Learning URL.
