Durham College is assessing its essential and non-essential services for the campus operation.
As of March 15, 2020
As DC moves to an online learning model where possible, and to ensure the health and safety of its employees, students and the campus community, Durham College (DC) will be taking Monday as a business continuity planning day.
In order to do this, employees are asked to come in to work on Monday to connect with their supervisor, conduct last minute planning for specific deliverables within their departments, transition to online course curriculum, and gather any equipment or work requirements. We then will communicate by the end of day, our work from home accommodations and business continuity decisions.
For some roles, a work-from-home arrangement may not be possible. Managers and supervisors will beworking with teams directly on Monday to discuss department-specific business needs, required roles and short-term plans.
Durham College continues to actively monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the potential impact on our community. Please visit www.durhamcollege.ca/coronavirus for updates and FAQs.
