COVID-19 Update: Fall semester program delivery information

Dear colleagues and students,

As communicated in March, plans for Durham College’s (DC) fall semester are well under way, with a focus on welcoming more students to campus as public health and government guidelines allow. For the fall semester, post-secondary programs will be delivered in three formats – remote, hybrid (a combination of in-person and remote) or flexible (part of the program is delivered with some students and faculty in-person on campus and learning activities are broadcast to students remotely, at the same time).

As of today, you can find all fall semester delivery information available on our COVID-19 website, including access to the following:

  • Program delivery chart
  • Student supports
  • Academic school contacts
  • Frequently asked questions

Our goal is to help prepare students to meet the world head-on. After more than a year of successful blended learning, we are confident that this model will continue to support student success while putting the health and safety of our campus community first.

Whether studying on campus, remotely, or a combination of both – students will receive the exceptional education DC is known for. They will also develop resiliency and adaptability, and gain a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge only a college program can offer.

As a reminder, the fall semester is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 8. You can learn more about the semester’s important academic dates online.

Please note that decisions about program delivery may change as a result of public health and government direction. We encourage you to visit our COVID-19 webpage for updates, resources and answers to frequently asked questions.

We look forward to seeing you in the fall,
