COVID-19 update: No impact to classes with Ontario’s stay-at-home order Posted on January 12, 2021 at 3:49 pm. Dear students and colleagues, Earlier today, the Ontario government announced new province-wide restrictions, which will go into effect on Thursday, January 14, to help curb the rising rate of COVID-19 infections. The new restrictions include a stay-at-home order for all non-essential purposes which does not impact Durham College’s (DC) current operation. Classes and services continue as scheduled. We understand that today’s announced additional measures may pose challenges for many students and employees, including those with elementary school-aged children. As you balance school, work and parental responsibilities over the next few weeks, please know that there are support services available to help.
