WHEN
As of September 13

DETAILS

DC’s vaccination policy  is now in effect. Individuals coming to campus, college-operated property or a college-sanctioned event must provide proof of one of the below:

  • Full vaccination;
  • Partial vaccination and a negative rapid test twice weekly; or
  • An approved exemption and a negative rapid test twice weekly.

For those requiring rapid testing to gain access into campus buildings, please pre-book your appointments prior to arrival to expedite the testing process. Walk-ins may be accepted upon availability. Appointments can be booked through Lakeridge Health’s screening booking system (covidscreen.lh.ca).

Rapid testing is not a replacement for vaccination, and this service will only be available while supplies last.

  • Oshawa campus
    • Campus Ice Centre (CIC), (enter through south doors, Founders 4 lot).
    • Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until October 17*.
  • Whitby campus
    • Galen Weston Centre for Food parking lot, off Stellar Drive, in a Rapid Testing Medical Tent.

*After Sunday, October 17, only those who have provided proof of full vaccination, or have an approved accommodation plan, will be permitted on campus.

Vaccinations:

If you still require a vaccination, you can book an appointment through the Province of Ontario’s booking site, at one of the Region of Durham’s vaccination clinics, or the Campus Ice Centre (north west doors – main entrance, Founders 5 lot).

Individuals are required to upload their vaccination or exemption documentation using DC’s COVID-19 Pre-entry Screening Questionnaire prior to receiving permission to come to campus, and must show their negative rapid test to security upon arrival.
