Fall semester program delivery information now available

Durham College (DC) is pleased to advise that fall semester program delivery information is now available online.

While a few programs may continue to be offered remotely, we are excited to welcome most of our students to campus, where they will experience DC’s exceptional labs and academic spaces for the best hands-on learning with in-person program delivery.

The following information details DC’s plans for the fall 2022 semester for post-secondary programs:

  • The semester runs from Wednesday, September 7 to Friday, December 16
  • Reading week is scheduled for Monday, October 24 to Friday, October 28
  • Programs will be offered in one of the following four formats:
    • In-person, on-campus – all courses are delivered on campus, and students attend in-person;
    • Hybrid – courses are delivered with a combination of in-person and remote;
    • Flexible – courses are delivered with some students and faculty in-person on campus and learning activities are broadcast to other students remotely at the same time; or
    • Remote – entirely online.
      • Fall semester delivery information can be found on our COVID-19 website, including:
        • Program delivery chart
        • Student supports
        • Academic school contacts
        • Frequently asked questions
      • You can learn more about the semester’s important academic dates online.

    Please note: DC will continue to keep the health and safety of our campus community top of mind, and decisions about program delivery may change due to public health and government direction.

    While DC remains a mask-friendly campus, face masks and proof of vaccination are not required at this time. We encourage you to visit our webpage for updates, resources and answers to frequently asked questions.

    We are looking forward to an exciting fall semester!
