For this reason, DC moved to a remote and hybrid learning and services model as well as partially re-opened campuses while closely following COVID-19 health and safety risk mitigation measures, in consultation with Durham Region Public Health.

With the fall semester underway, it’s important to note that because everyone is doing their part to keep the campus community healthy and safe, the COVID-19 cases we have reported related to our campus have been isolated and the risk to our students and employees remains very low. It is also important that our employees and students continue to follow DC’s guidelines for working and learning on campus.

Since March, when COVID-19 began to impact our campus operations, Durham College (DC) has been sharing updates and information through email communication, the mobile app, and the college’s COVID-19 webpage.
