WHAT Positive case of COVID-19 confirmed at Whitby campus – no risk to campus community WHEN Monday, November 2 IMPLICATIONS We have been advised that a student at the Whitby campus has tested positive for COVID-19. Durham Region Public Health has determined that there is no risk to the campus community. The student was last in the main building of the Whitby campus on Saturday, October 24, but was not contagious at that time. Our student is currently isolating at home and being accommodated academically. We wish them a safe and speedy recovery. Please be reminded of the college’s preventative safety measures when coming to campus and on campus. All coming to campus must complete a one minute COVID-19 screening questionnaireprior to arriving.
