Updated winter 2021 semester program delivery plans now available

In September, we announced that Durham College (DC) would continue offering its post-secondary programs through a combination of fully remote and hybrid (remote/in-person) delivery for the winter 2021 semester.

To help students plan for the term ahead, a chart outlining programs, semesters and mode of delivery is available on the COVID program delivery page.

Where possible, programs will be delivered remotely, with a limited number of students coming to campus for required in-person activities. Some students may also participate in a remote, onsite or blended work-integrated-learning opportunity. Examples of work-integrated-learning include co-op, field placement, practicum, clinical placement and preceptorship.

As a reminder, the winter semester starts on Wednesday, January 6 and ends on Friday, April 16. The winter reading week is scheduled for Monday, February 22 to Friday, February 26. Learn more about the term’s important academic dates.

While this year looks different from what we are used to, students can rest assured that they will still receive a high-quality academic experience that will prepare them for their futures.

Please note that these decisions may change as a result of public health and government guidance and direction.
