What will my child be doing at camp?

Durham College Esports Camps are a balance of both online and offline activities.

On-line: Players will learn how to sharpen their in game skills through workshops for critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and team communication, split second decision making, as well as have the opportunity to gain 1 on 1 coaching from our varsity esports athletes.

Off-line: Campers will be completing daily physical activities and stretches to ensure proper ergonomics while playing as to not damage eyes, wrists, or posture. Players will also be engaged in various esports learning opportunities such as understanding the ‘behind the scenes’ of video games & esports, protecting yourself in the online world, knowing when to stop for the day, mental health balances, as well as what the current available academic and career opportunities are.
