Global Café – Home Away From Home

Join us for the September Global Café Series, an inclusive and welcoming monthly gathering designed for all Durham College students seeking a “home away from home.”

We understand the challenges of adjusting to a new environment, and we’re here to provide a space where you can engage in informal discussions about housing, homesickness, and the shared experiences that come with being far from home.

At this Global Café, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow students who are navigating similar journeys. Enjoy light snacks as you exchange stories, share tips for finding comfortable housing, and discuss strategies to overcome homesickness. Whether you’re a new student or have been here for a while, this event is for all of you.
