Join FPIC as we wrap up National Indigenous history month with the Medicine Wheel Teaching. The Teachings of the Medicine Wheel are vast. There are seven teachings within each direction on the Medicine wheel, and all of these have sub-teachings to them.
The four directions of the Medicine Wheel remind us of many things, such as the need for balance in the world. The four-direction teachings go clockwise, beginning in the east. The medicine wheel has often been used as a teaching tool to talk about balance. FPIC strives to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of those we work with and support. These are part of the teachings of the medicine wheel and finding balance.
Let us welcome Elder Shirley Williams as she shares her teachings on the Medicine wheel.
