The REDress Campus Campaign is an on-campus project that includes a week of related events that will take place from Monday, February 10 to Friday, February 14. 

The campaign aims to raise awareness, generate conversation, inspire action and honour those who have been touched by the historic and ongoing crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S) in Canada.

It is inspired by Métis artist Jaime Black’s The REDress Project, an aesthetic response to the MMIWG2S crisis, which is now a permanent exhibit in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

The campus campaign is being led by the First Peoples Indigenous Centre (FPIC) at DC and the Baagwating Indigenous Student Centre at Ontario Tech University, along with community partners including the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Carea and The Nourish and Develop Foundation.

All events are free and open to everyone.
