This course provides students with a science based overview of the study of animal behaviour. Topics covered will include how evolution, genetics and physiology impact animal behaviour. Cognition, motivation and learning theory lay the foundation for an introduction to training and behaviour modification. The knowledge students acquire in this course can be utilized in their future interactions with animals in their chosen career field.
