Field Placement 2

Students demonstrate some of the more advanced vocational program standards. Further technical skills are developed through the application of the knowledge gained in the prerequisite courses. In addition to implementing a further range of treatment plans, students are required to critically evaluate ongoing interventions within the placement. Students continue to have the opportunity to observe and practice the ethical application of behavioural principles/techniques. This placement requires students to complete a placement in an Applied Behaviour Analysis program for children or adults with autism spectrum disorder. Students are required to complete placement on a full-time schedule during agency business hours. Students must complete Safe Management Crisis Intervention Training © prior to field placement.
