Functional Anatomy

Students will become familiar with functional human anatomy and its application to exercise. Students will be able to identify joint actions of major muscles of the trunk, lower extremity, and upper extremity. The student will be able to determine the joint actions, active muscles, and types of contractions for various exercises targeting the trunk, lower and upper extremities.
