Organic Chemistry 1

Familiarization with organic chemical structures, functional groups, nomenclature and basic physical properties and reactions of organic compounds. Utilizing the current internationally accepted standards organic structures will be identified, as well as fundamental chemical reactions will be explored. Foundational laboratory techniques will be practiced and utilized for extraction and synthetic organic chemistry.
