Elec Code 3

This course is designed as a continuation of Code 2 from the previous semester. It will introduce the student to the Rules and Regulations for some different sections found in the Canadian Electrical Code. This course will include locating and discussion of the rules as they pertain to installations—versus residential applications as previously covered. This level will study some specialty sections to include: demand factor calculations ( for other than residential ), protection and control devices, hazardous locations, patient care areas, individual motors, commercial type lighting, welders, communication systems and commercial heating applications with the use of the associated tables and appendices.
