Communications for Recreation & Leisure

Effective business communication is pivotal for the success of any organization, company or individual in today's highly connected world. Students examine key principles of business communication and practice planning, creating, editing, and delivering messages to diverse audiences. Special attention is paid to considering audiences, purposes, and contexts related to recreation and leisure environments. Through experiential learning, writing activities, and group discussion, students focus on exploring the fundamentals of successful business communication in a Canadian context.
