This course provides a complete and in-depth review of the principles of written communication skills as well as an introduction to those communication rudiments which are essential when communicating in business today. Through hands-on, practical writing exercises, students will learn and practice these essential communication processes. The primary focus of the course will be on effective writing which includes correct spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. Students will also complete self-assessment and interpersonal assignments with the goal of improving academic skills leading to increased student success.
