Computer Applications 1 - Sport

Students are expected to create documents for projects to assist in decision making, to build professional portfolios, and to perform administrative duties. Applications covered in this course are as follows: Word Processing: users will create properly formatted research papers and business documents that include tables, charts templates, and the integration of other software. Users will also be able to use these platforms as a collaborative tool with personalized settings. LinkedIn: users will create and maintain a professional on-line profile and create the proper business connections. Infographics: users will transform information into a graphic or pictorial format that is designed to present information as a visual artefact. Outlook: users will demonstrate organizational, professional and administrative skills with using e-mail, contact and calendar management, and etiquette. Presentation Software: users will create effective presentations using various software to present information by using correct slide formatting, slide transitions, creating object animations, embedding videos, and linking charts and tables, we well as on-line content. Applications may include, but are not limited to: Microsoft PowerPoint 2016, Microsoft Sway, Prezi, Google Slides, Adobe Connect, and Haiku Deck
