Business Computer Applications II

Students will be introduced to spreadsheets and how to apply Excel to solve business related problems. Students will be given the opportunity to learn and develop the necessary skills required to prepare and format spreadsheets, create charts, and apply business and financial functions used in business. This introductory course will prepare students for further study in intermediate/advanced Excel applications as they continue in their program of study. As part of this course, students will have the opportunity to attempt the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Associate (Office 365 and 2019) Exam MO-200 in an effort to obtain Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (a globally recognized credential). The MOS exam must be proctored; therefore students will be provided the exam date/time early in the semester to arrange their schedules accordingly.
