This course will help Public Relations (PR) students develop their professional writing skills. Through analysis and practise of composing written communication most frequently used in PR, students will establish their foundational writing skills and start building a portfolio. Areas of focus will include media advisories, media and broadcast releases and feature stories. This subject is a prerequisite for P.R. Copy Writing II. Some students may need additional support to sharpen these skills outside of class.
