Coding For The Web I

This course introduces students to the JavaScript programming language and how it can enhance the design and presentation of Web pages. Using an example centered approach, the course demonstrates how to use JavaScript to add a variety of effects and interactions to Web pages. As code examples are explained fundamental programming concepts are identified and discussed. An understanding of and ability to code HTML and CSS markup is a prerequisite, but no other programming experience is assumed. The only tools required in the course are a basic text editor and a modern browser.
