The Entrepreneurship class carries on from the Personal Finance course in which students learn the building blocks of entrepreneurship and finance. Students spend the semester being mentored through the creation of a personal entrepreneurial plan for a realistic music business-related venture that they could either do full time or part time on the side of an alternate day job. Depending on the students' objectives, they will develop a concrete plan either for a) creating a job for themselves in the music business, or b) engaging in a short-term, music-business related activity that will help increase their chances of gaining employment.
