Environmental Impact And Legislation

This course will give students insight into biodiversity and will inform students of the impact societies of the past and present have had on ecological systems in North America. We will review in detail our environment from a Canadian perspective. Additionally a significant portion of this course is focused on the environmental impact of the automobile. This course is not intended to resolve environmental issues but rather educate and inform students. Upon completion, students will understand their own ecological footprint and will be given objective means on how to manage the footprint of the automobile as well as reduce their own human footprint.
