In this course students will incorporate fitness into their lifestyles by developing and understanding the principles of exercise and fitness. Weekly documentation of the student's workouts is a requirement. Students will demonstrate their fitness knowledge through attendance to a weekly theory class, by completing assignments and on a written and a scheduled fitness components test. The scheduled fitness components test includes a cardiovascular test which is scored to BFOR test standards. Students are encouraged to attend a weekly fitness class to practice the required testing protocols and to participate in workouts.
