Field Placement & Report

Field Placement or work integrated learning is considered an important part of a Biomedical Engineering Technology student's education. Students must complete 200 hours of placement in their final year. The student is responsible for arranging placement by no later than Reading week and submitting all required documentation including all signed placement agreements, medical and police check forms if required. Satisfactory completion of midterm and final evaluations for placement and the presentation of a report based on the placement are mandatory components of Biomedical placement.
