Field Placement I

A key strength of the Music Business Management program is the field work (also called an "internship" within the music industry). To further develop their practical skills in a "real world" setting and to increase their prospects for graduate employment, students work two days (Thursdays and Fridays) each week for the entire semester (14 weeks). Field placement is perceived as an actual job opportunity because students compete for positions and once accepted are expected to perform in a professional manner. This is the first of two semesters. Students will have the opportunity to share and assess their experiences in the co-requisite class WKSP 4311. An additional subject outline is provided for that weekly, one-hour session.
