Field Placement Seminar-Med

Student placements are confirmed in Semester 3, Field Placement Preparation course. Students must confirm placement location and schedule with their field placement coordinator PRIOR to taking this course. Field placement allows students the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained throughout the Office Administration- Health Services Program in a work setting. Students will attend a weekly 1-hour seminar class. In the seminar class, students will have the opportunity to discuss issues pertaining to field placement. Students are evaluated using a combination of field placement supervisor/employer evaluation, completion of required field placement hours, assigned reflections and self-evaluations.
