Field Placement Seminar II

This course is designed to inform and prepare the HRM graduate certificate student for the FWKH 6202 field placement course which will commence at the conclusion of the second semester. It is a combination of assignments, mini-workshops, guest speaker presentations and opportunities to meet one-to-one with the faculty coordinator during the semester. Employer selection procedures are scheduled early in the second semester of the program of study and the field placement will commence at the beginning of the third semester. Students have the option to select from a list of employers assembled by the faculty coordinator. On an exception basis only, students may "prospect" their own employer location subject to approval by the Field Placement Officer and Program Coordinator. Students will be required to complete all training modules, a student declaration, and a Health and Safety Checklist to be eligible to participate in the field placement course FWKH6202.
