Texturing II - Games
Students are introduced to basic 2D surfacing concepts and techniques for production assets, using Maya 2017 and Photoshop. Working with UVs, creating Color, Bump, Spec, Normal maps and applying them to custom shaders will be introduced through focused surfacing assignments. Introduction to lighting/rendering in Arnold will be covered. The course will culminate in the surfacing and production of a turnaround render for a high poly character asset.
