Leadership and teamwork play large roles in the world of sport. Success in the sport business hinges on a sport manager's ability to recognize and practice leadership and team concepts effectively. In this course, students are encouraged to understand and apply leadership and management theories, to examine leadership applications in the sport industry and to develop and foster self-management skills.
