Experience will be gained on a broad range of tools and equipment from manual trimmers to a skid steer loader. Students learn about the principles and terminology of electrical, hydraulic, power and lubrication systems. Safety issues relating to the operation of the equipment will be stressed. Students will learn WHIMIS, first aid, industry, and occupational health and safety practices and standards and how they are applied in various work environments.
