This course provides the foundation for learning about the "behind-the-scenes" aspects of library work in all types of libraries. Foundational level cataloguing skills are taught, including derived cataloguing and MARC coding. Students are also introduced to other core library processes, including physical processing, circulation, and collection maintenance.
